How to read this page. The formal text is what is legally binding. Next to it, in the tinted boxes marked “In plain English”, we explain the same thing in everyday language so it is easy to follow. Those summaries are there to help you understand and are not legally binding on their own. If the two ever seem to disagree, the formal text controls.

This Cookie Policy explains how Technṛityam uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on www.technrityam.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. "Similar technologies" include local storage and device identifiers that work in comparable ways. They let a site remember things about your visit, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.

2How we use them

We use these technologies for a few specific purposes:

  • Essential / authentication: to sign you in, keep your session active, and keep the platform secure. The site will not work properly without these.
  • Functionality and local storage: to remember your preferences and to temporarily hold your practice data in your browser when you use the tools as a guest, before you create an account.
  • Analytics: through PostHog, to understand which features are used and how the platform performs, so we can improve it. For signed-in users this activity is linked to your account.

3Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies: required for sign-in, sessions, and security. These cannot be switched off through the site because the platform depends on them.

Analytics cookies (PostHog): help us see how the platform is used. They are not strictly necessary, and where the law requires consent for them, we rely on your consent.

Local storage: used by the platform and by some of these tools to store information (such as guest practice data and the analytics state) directly in your browser, rather than as a traditional cookie.

4Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear your local storage there too. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop you from signing in or using parts of the platform. To learn how, see your browser's help pages.

You can also opt out of non-essential analytics. If you would like us to stop associating analytics with your account, or have questions about cookies, contact us at admin.technrityam@gmail.com.

5Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the technologies we use change. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do.

Questions or grievances

For anything about this policy, your data, or a complaint, contact Niral Uprit at admin.technrityam@gmail.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and, where the law sets a deadline, within that period.
